🪼 FuntoSwim Staff Training – Jellyfish Level (18–32 Months)

Course Description

This course trains FuntoSwim teachers to confidently plan and deliver Jellyfish Level swimming lessons for toddlers aged 18–32 months, with a strong focus on building confidence, encouraging early independence, and maintaining emotional safety in the water.

Jellyfish Level builds directly on Turtle Level foundations, using the same class structure and routines, while gradually increasing the child’s active participation, awareness, and readiness for more independent movement.

Teachers will learn:

• How Jellyfish Level differs from Turtle Level in expectations and delivery
• How to encourage toddler independence while keeping parents actively involved
• How to apply water conditioning appropriately and safely
• How to read readiness cues and respond to individual emotional needs
• How to manage common challenges such as separation anxiety, refusal, or overexcitement
• How to maintain structure, flow, and engagement in a busy toddler class

This course reinforces that Jellyfish Level is not about performance or speed, but about confidence, emotional regulation, and positive water experiences, while gently preparing children for future transition into more independent swimming levels.
