🐢 FuntoSwim Staff Training – Turtle Level (4–18 Months)

This course trains FuntoSwim teachers to confidently plan and deliver Turtle Level swimming lessons for babies aged 4–18 months.

The focus of this level is water familiarisation, sensory development, safety, and emotional comfort, delivered through structured play, songs, repetition, and parent involvement.

Teachers will learn:

• How to structure a Turtle Level class from start to finish
• How to work effectively with parents in the water
• What skills are appropriate (and not appropriate) for this age group
• How to maintain safety, engagement, and routine
• How to adapt activities based on a baby’s development, mood, and confidence

This course is not stroke-focused. It is designed to build positive water experiences, early aquatic awareness, and trust between baby, parent, and teacher — in line with FuntoSwim philosophy and Swim Australia guidelines.
